We had the good fortune of connecting with Erica Diloreto and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Erica, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
Work life balance, I feel any entrepreneur would agree with me when I say, there really is no balance, I’ve just learned how to manage my time better over the years. Entrepreneurship I’ve learned is round the clock work, from the physical part of the job, to the marketing, advertising, social media, business development you name it, I catch myself working all hours of the day, even on days off. I have learned to at least take one day a week for myself, self care is very important, if you’re not feeling your best how can you do your best work?

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I love what I do! I get to make women feel more beautiful & confident about themselves. It’s a rewarding feeling when you get a fresh set of eyes to lash, & you can see the confidence levels rise when they love what they see! When my clients come into the lash studio, it’s almost like a therapy session for both of us! I’ve developed great friendships with my clients over the years & the fact that they trust me so much is also very rewarding. I got to where I am today professionally with consistent hard work. I wanted to learn lashing and run my own business and I worked hard for it. I have new goals set in mind and I will work hard until I achieve them! I want the world to know that you can achieve anything you put your mind to, just stay persistent, believe in yourself!

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
If my girls are coming into town for the weekend, We would most likely rent an AirBnB somewhere in Scottsdale, must have a pool. We love good food, so many amazing restaurants to visit, Sushi Roku, Citizen Public House, Buck & Rider, & of course the classic Mastros City Hall. I love to hangout and explore downtown Phoenix on cooler days, The Phoenix Art Museum is always a must see. Roosevelt Row District is a fun spot to snap some Instagram photos. If we’re gonna head out for the night you’ll most likely catch us running around our old stomping grounds of OldTown Scottsdale.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to Shoutout My loyal clients who have been with me from day one! Thank you a million times, you have stuck with me through many years and helped me grow. From a part time beginner lash artist to a owner of a small business! I wouldn’t be able to do this without my loyal gals!
