We had the good fortune of connecting with Eris Movahedi and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eris, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
My Persian culture has been a significant source of inspiration for me in opening my coffee truck business. Growing up, my family would make an array of flavorsome dishes that were a celebration of our cultural heritage. It was these unique and delicious flavors that sparked my love for food and beverage. I decided to channel that passion into a coffee truck business, where I could bring the tastes and traditions of my Persian culture to a broader audience. By incorporating the vibrant and diverse flavors of my heritage into my coffee creations, I am not only sharing my cultural identity but also introducing people to a whole new world of delicious and exciting tastes. Overall, my Persian culture has been the driving force behind my coffee truck business, and I’m proud to share it with others.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
It’s been a challenging journey owning a coffee truck business, from countless hours of work to navigating the competitive landscape of the coffee industry. Espressoul is a Persian vegan coffee truck that sets itself apart in a few key ways.
Firstly, the fact that it is a vegan coffee truck is unique in itself, as many coffee trucks may offer vegan options but not exclusively vegan products. This sets Espressoul apart in the sense that it caters to a specific dietary need and can provide a more inclusive experience for customers who may have difficulty finding suitable options elsewhere.
Secondly, Espressoul incorporates Persian flavors and traditions into its menu, which sets it apart from other coffee trucks that may offer more typical coffee drinks and snacks. This can provide customers with a unique and culturally rich experience that they may not be able to find elsewhere.
Overall, Espressoul stands out as a vegan coffee truck that offers unique Persian flavors, emphasizes sustainability, and provides an inclusive experience for customers with specific dietary needs.
Getting to where we are today professionally was not easy. It required a lot of hard work, dedication, and a willingness to learn from our mistakes. We had to overcome challenges such as finding the right locations to park our truck, building a loyal customer base, and managing our finances effectively.
Along the way, we’ve learned some valuable lessons about perseverance, flexibility, and the importance of building strong relationships with our customers. We’ve also discovered the power of social media and word-of-mouth marketing to help us grow our business and connect with new customers.
Overall, we want the world to know that our coffee truck business is more than just a source of caffeine – it’s a reflection of our values and commitment to making a positive impact in our community. We hope to continue serving delicious coffee and building meaningful relationships with our customers for many years to come.
