We had the good fortune of connecting with Eva Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eva, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
When I think about work-life balance, I don’t think it relates only to work. It relates to life. Having balance in your life is highly important. In 2020, the world was stopped in tracks…. COVID19…. If you didn’t have balance in your life at that time, you sure found a way to gravitate to it. Everyone had to stop and isolate themselves. The pandemic that some very good outcomes, meaning there were so many people who looked at their lives and decided to change their careers that they were truly happy with. There were also so many people who lost family and friends and became immediately grateful for life.
Having balance in your life means you equally have what you need in life is divided so that one is not outweighing the other. You can’t work 80 hours a week and have 2 hours a week for your husband, or kids, or exercising, reading, etc. Your work isn’t going to suffer however everything else in your life is going to. In order for all aspects of your life to grow, you have to focus equal time on all aspects.
Modeling is my passion. I love every bit of it. I started modeling a few years before the pandemic hit and my passion had to be put to the side for safety. I truly missed it, however, I knew so many people had lost their lives and I didn’t want to contribute to that in any way shape, or form. I would be back to my passion one day, and I have.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am currently a freelance model. I work with WillowScott Mideliing Agency and I am an Arabella Model Affiliate. Working in the modeling industry is very competitive, However, I love the fact that you can have freedom of expression. I have learned that you never know what the casting agent is looking for to give it your best at every shoot and every model call you go to.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I moved to Arizona about 8 years ago and there are still places that I haven’t been to. One of my favorite things to do is shopping. Whether it’s window shopping or a shopping spree, It is one of my favorite things. I love to walk the malls or even consignment shops. It gives me an idea about fashions and decorating. it truly inspires me. Some of my favorite spots to eat are Snooze, Biscuits, Bobby Q’s, Brio Tuscan Italian, Culinary Dropout, Lou Malnati’s, Hot N Juicy, and my absolute fav Opa Life. Yearly around my Birthday, I love to go drive to South Mountain at sunrise because Arizona has the best sunrises and Sunset anywhere. I am recently a vinyl head so record store shopping has to be my second favorite pastime.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would first like to thank God for always blessing my life and family. My children for keeping me grounded. My true friends and family, who have accepted me no matter what, and let me say my eccentric and idiosyncrasies are a handful. Prince is the one who taught me it is ok to be different, I truly thank you for that. Thank you to all the photographers and makeup artists who work with me and see me for who I truly am. I would like to thank my modeling agency Willow Scott Models and Arabella Marketing and PR. Last but definitely not least, My hubby, who has always been by my side and supported me in every aspect of my life, #everthineevermineeverours.
