We had the good fortune of connecting with Faith Burtamekh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Faith, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting my own business was a decision fueled by a deep desire to serve others. My vision is simple yet profound: every woman who comes to Faith Marie Co. with a dream on her heart and big plans in her head receives the tools, beliefs, and systems she needs to turn those goals into her reality.

The journey to founding Faith Marie Co. is rooted in my background as a teacher and Principal. Leadership, coaching, and professional learning have always been my passions. Throughout my career in education, I discovered the profound impact that guidance and support can have on an individual’s growth and success. This insight became the cornerstone of my business.

I wanted to create a space where women could find the confidence and resources to pursue their aspirations. By leveraging my experience in education and leadership, I have been able to craft programs and services that truly make a difference in the lives of my clients. At Faith Marie Co., we believe that every woman deserves the chance to achieve her goals, and we are dedicated to providing the support needed to make that happen.

In essence, my thought process behind starting this business was simple: to serve others by empowering them to realize their full potential. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the transformation that occurs when someone is given the right tools and encouragement to chase their dreams.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’d love to share more about my career and what sets me apart in the coaching world. My background as an educator, particularly as a high-achieving principal, has shaped my approach to coaching. In that role, I learned invaluable lessons about leadership, team growth, leading by example, and maintaining integrity. These skills and experiences have seamlessly transferred to my coaching practice, benefiting my clients in numerous ways.

One of the things that distinguishes me is my innate ability to think both broadly and in detail. I can see the big picture, understand complex systems, and focus on the minutiae. This versatility allows me to adjust my thinking and approach to match my clients’ learning styles, providing tailored support that meets their unique needs. As a coach, I don’t just tell my clients what to do or ask probing questions; I model and show them exactly what to do until they gain the confidence to do it independently. Knowing when and how to navigate these different approaches is my gift.

A highlight of my career is my dual focus: I coach principals and school leaders, and I also run a coaching business for heart-led, ambitious women in business. This blend allows me to apply my expertise in leadership and coaching across different contexts, enriching my professional journey. I believe that putting people first and building strong relationships, form the foundation of fruitful coaching engagements. Helping others see and achieve their potential is incredibly rewarding.

What truly sets me apart is my signature approach, built on three pillars: leading yourself, leading your business or career, and leading others. This comprehensive framework ensures that my clients develop holistically, achieving balance and success in all areas of their lives.

My journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced challenges, particularly with overthinking and putting immense pressure on myself to excel in everything I do. Being multi-passionate means I often struggle with wanting to do it all. However, I’ve learned valuable lessons along the way, such as the importance of self-compassion, prioritization, and seeking support when needed.

Ultimately, I want the world to know that my brand, Faith Marie Co., is dedicated to empowering individuals to lead with heart and integrity. Whether working with school leaders or ambitious women in business, my mission is to help my clients transform their dreams into reality through a blend of leadership, coaching, and professional learning.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share my journey and the people who have been instrumental in my success. Without a doubt, a significant part of my story is thanks to the incredible support and mentorship of Natalie Brett Daggerhart, my Business Energetics & Alignment Coach and Speaker.

Natalie has been my coach for several years, and her impact on both my personal and professional life has been profound. She has a unique ability to see beyond the surface, understanding not only what’s visible but also the deeper energetics that drive success. This skill has been invaluable to me as I’ve navigated the complexities of running my business.

Through her coaching, I’ve learned to trust my intuition and recognize the importance of energetics as a core component of my business’s success. Natalie has helped me continually develop my confidence, empowering me to define success on my own terms rather than adhering to traditional expectations. Her guidance has enabled me to run my business in a way that feels authentic and aligned with my values.

I want to dedicate my shoutout to Natalie Brett Daggerhart for her unwavering support, vision, and belief in me. Her coaching has been a cornerstone of my journey, and I am immensely thankful for her contributions to my success.
