Meet Gldf1nch | Content Creator and Veteran

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gldf1nch and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gldf1nch, how does your business help the community?
I’ve put a big focus on helping out my fellow veterans and the LGBT community in any way that I can in my content creation process. I am apart of a veteran run non-profit called StackUp that offers peer to peer counseling , employment assistance , VA assistance and Sends out crates of gaming gear to active duty and veterans to help get them plugged in and socializing with other vets. My community and I have raised a total of over $2,000 for organizations such as Wounded Warrior Project, The Gary Sinise Foundation, The Trevor Project and Stand up to Cancer. I wanted to give back with my community and my content to these organizations because they are all close to my heart . I lost my Dad , my uncle and my grandpa to cancer and I’m a Gay Navy Veteran so I understand a lot of what active duty and veterans go through as well. Gaming and content creation is about having a brand but also about community and bringing people together which is why I am so passionate about it .

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve been in this streaming and content creation journey for a little over two years now and there a lot of people and communities I have met that have shaped me and grown me in that time. I’ve met a lot of amazing people through my work with wounded warrior project and StackUp and without them I wouldn’t have as many resources as I do to help fellow active duty members and veterans. I have been apart of a lot of amazing stream teams and groups as well ! drip squad run by BiggySweats has been a huge hub for me to grow and meet more content creators and I will be forever grateful to be apart of it ! Thank you to my VIPS: Sweaty_Smetty, Harpuawilson, jpacidtv, lamadrama25, loganradiorocks, luna_sway, pandahugz, punknarwhalz, raifor_ , roguebucaneer, rexgabe, and  retro_forward ! I want to thank my moderators who without them my stream would be chaos ! thank you : Rheasarama, MrCarmo75, Zythum117, Ryze_KyleNW, Sanspineapple, and Roki1703 ! 

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I suggest Gruntstyle at the phoenix premium outlets and Black Rifle Coffee in Mesa. Both are incredible Veteran owned businesses and you get a veteran’s discount at almost all of the stores at the outlets as well.
