We had the good fortune of connecting with Gratitude Gifted and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gratitude, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
We believe that the most important thing for our brand is not just understanding our personal passions and dreams, but understanding our purpose. Our purpose is to reach as many people as possible with the power of gratitude and impact their lives and relationships. This keeps us moving forward day after day. We know that now more than ever, people need to feel appreciated and loved and our purpose in starting Gratitude Gifted was to make a difference for as many people as we are able. We know that when someone experiences gratitude, it can have the ability to change their life. This fuels everything we do.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
It all began with our grandma.
In 2017, on a chilly Christmas Eve in Northern Arizona, Grandma opened her front door to find a holiday wreath sitting at her doorstep. The wreath was covered in beautiful pine foliage and bright poinsettia flowers, yet lacked a gift tag so she could know who sent it to her. Her curiosity got the best of her, so she called up her daughters, neighbors, and old friends in an attempt to locate the sender. Each conversation was filled with joy and energy, spreading the spirit of gratitude to every person she spoke with while she was reminded of how truly appreciated she was by those around her.
While she never located the anonymous sender, Grandma was so filled with gratitude that someone sent her something special because they were thinking of her- making her feel seen, loved, and appreciated. Her joyous spirit was contagious to the people she called and she carried the emotion of gratitude with her for many days after. The anonymous gift was so much more than a wreath; it was a connection through gratitude that multiplied again and again every time she saw the wreath or spoke to someone new about it.
What Grandma showed us is that the spirit of gratitude holds incredible power. Even further, there is power in anonymous gifting so gratitude can be experienced in its purest form, without claiming credit and merely to express deep appreciation to others. This emotion should not be reserved just for the holidays, and it is so important to spread the feeling of appreciation for one another no matter the time of year. We wanted to capture this feeling and share it with the world.
From that anonymous experience, Gratitude Gifted was born. We know our world has brokenness and shadows and would never shy from this truth, but it also has beauty, goodness, compassion, and gratitude, which all starts within all of us. People are our why because we know we – together – are the key to spreading gratitude and goodness to create a better world.
People are what matters most to us, and we want everyone to know just how loved, appreciated, seen, and heard they are, just as Grandma felt that chilly Christmas Eve.
Gratitude Gifted is foremost a gratitude company. Our mission is to help as many people as possible experience the power of gratitude, and encourage them to pass the spirit of appreciation along to everyone they come in contact with. We have created a gifting experience that lets someone anonymously send a gift of gratitude to someone they appreciate to tell them how grateful for them they are, or shop for themselves. A person can gift a handcrafted gemstone or braided gratitude bracelet made with solid sterling silver, then select a letter that best fits the recipient.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Sedona, Arizona holds so much incredible beauty, and there is so much to do, see, and experience.
It is easy to have a perfect day in Sedona! We would start the day at Local Juicery, enjoying an amazing breakfast with the best Blue Magic bowl and Gluten-Free waffles, and fuel our bodies for an amazing adventure.
We would spend most of the day in nature, taking in the beauty of the Red Rocks. Cathedral Rock is a can’t miss hike, and Solider’s Pass is another amazing trail. The views on both these trails allow you to see the beauty of Sedona while getting in exercise.
Next, we would explore the shopping, and check out all the crystal stores! There are so many beautiful crystals to see. It is always enjoyable getting new inspiration for our gratitude bracelets and chatting with the store experts about the properties of the crystals.
We would finish the day at Tlaquepaque, enjoying the peaceful creek views and the restaurants.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The person reading this! For taking a moment to learn about our small, family-owned business, and for taking a moment to reflect on all you have to be grateful for. We are so grateful for YOU.
Spread gratitude, change the world.
