We had the good fortune of connecting with Hanifah Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hanifah, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
From the time that I was a little girl, I never witnessed my father work for anyone. He was the epitome of an entrepreneur and had the spirit of a dedicated go-getter; creating business models to provide value to the people around him and bringing a cheerful spirit to his business that his customers loved. This is an impression that left a positive imprint on my mind. I always knew that being a business owner was a feat that I would carryout one day. When the opportunity presented itself for me to step to the forefront and create my own brand in real estate, I utilized those same principles that were modeled before me to bring character, service, integrity, and prioritization of the needs of my clients to create my business model. I was blessed to have a primary role model and example in my life.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a Real Estate Advisor in a climate of everchanging technology and a quickly advancing industry. I understand the dynamics of growth, have experienced numerous shifts in economic ups and downs and am well educated in my craft. Most importantly, I prioritize the wins of my clients. By utilizing my skills and knowledge to create a successful framework for my clients to achieve their greatest desires, and objectives, I benchmark my own success in direct correlation to that of what my clients achieve. This model ensures that my clients will always be put first to achieve the highest and best once their trust is placed with me as their real estate advisor and guide.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Undoubtedly if my best friend was visiting the area, I would ensure that they saw the best of what the valley has fo offer with an off road trek to Sedona’s red hills and peaks. Featuring some of the most beautiful sights and hiking trails in Arizona, Sedona is perfect for a quick-day’s getaway. Either offering a quick Pink jeep tour through the rocky passes to see some off road sites, or even viewing the gorgeous terrain from above on a quick helicopter tour- Sedona is well staged with options. When dining in the metropolitan area of Scottsdale, a brunch reservation at Maple & Ash would be the perfect easement through an enjoyable weekend.
Dinner reservations at Toca Madera is a lovely touch with the perfect combination of sociability and ambiance.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My parents where key figures in molding my core values and principles in this world. They ensured that proper care and treatment of other people was a major fundamental that was instilled in me from a young age. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” – The Golden Rule that my mother constantly iterated growing up in a large tight knit family. This is still something that echoes through my mind in every scenario that I enact. Embodying this principle to also incorporate how any action that I take in life my also affect others. It is a strong grounding principle that I carry on a personal level but also reflect in my business, as it maintains the application of oneness -The modified question echoes, ‘as I carry out my purpose in life and business, how will this affect others?’.
