We had the good fortune of connecting with Heather McCleester and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Heather, how does your business help the community?
My business is helping the world by using more eco friendly single use items and also by being entirely plant based, not contributing to further suffering or factory farming. Another important part of my business is helping people to reduce their consumption of sugar while still offering sweet and delightful treats!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My tea blends are created with the mindset of a chef, witch and healer. My inspirations come from divine intuition, myths, fairytales, shamanic learnings and the beautiful people in my life. I’m excited to be celebrating the 5 year anniversary of my tea shop! There have been many challenges and learning curves but the key has been acceptance and evolution. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that what is meant for you cannot be taken from you—your path is divinely aligned!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Definitely Rendezvous, get the whiskey chai or any of the other incredible concoctions the bar artists have created! Tinderbox/Annex/Tourist Home are all super solid choices for food and drinks—the outdoor fireplace is rad!
Drinking Horn Meadery is an excellent choice for that authentic Viking experience
Buffalo Park is lovely for a chill stroll with an epic mountain view!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Ram Dass, Paramahansa Yogananda and the Self Realization Fellowship, my dad and all of my circle and community!!
