We had the good fortune of connecting with Heer Patel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Heer, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?

Your health determines your performance and the more you perform, the greater your chances of success. You are the owner of your body and mind and should be able to feel when you are on the right track mentally and physically.

For me, success starts from your mindset. Success is a continuous process, In order to be one of the most successful, you have to be driven, self-motivated, organized, communicative and creative. It also helps to have a competitive streak, whether you’re competing against others or just trying to achieve a new personal best.

Most of us have a failure phobia which stops us from doing the best in our life. Wherever your focus is, your mind follows so stay focused on your goals but not on your fears. Your focus must be on the work at hand.The mindless hands will never produce great results.

As a Realtor our self is our brand and how we can get out of the best. It requires team efforts and one vision to make our brand successful. Of course, there’s no surefire formula for success, in real estate or in any other field. And there will always be exceptions to the rules.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
As Realtor and Cardio workout Instructor, I’ve to deal with different types of properties and different types of people. People want to work with people they feel comfortable with. You don’t have to give in to every demand or change the way you do business, but you should keep in mind how you treat other people and what impact that may have on you. There are many times in every deal that little things will come up or mini crises have to be dealt with. How you handle deals will go a long way in developing a reputation. This reputation will define you and your business. Running numbers and evaluating properties is important, but customer service is even more important if you are in business for the long haul. Your good intentions ,Knowledge and customer service will get you more deals than any book you can read or course you take.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

I am from sunny state AZ, so I have so many beautiful places where we have a really great time. Sedona is the first place where we can enjoy waterfalls with sliding, hiking, trailing and Barbecue with friends is always fun. So I would like to serve them one of my best dishes and the second place is any lakeside stay from where we can have a water ride and some fun water activities.

I don’t miss Lake Havasu, If we have more time.I would like to stay in places from where we can see beautiful views of sunrise, sunset and lake or ocean with cup of hot tea with my friend and with healthy breakfast and can talk for hours and hours.I would take long walk or go for long drive along sea/lake shore. It will be our lifelong memories.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I can’t think of Without help and support from family, friends, books and organization any person can achieve success. I’ve always got support from my family and a very good friend. The hint of getting into this business came from the spiritual centre I used to go to which is based on our Holy book “Bhagavad Geeta”, which has answers to all questions. It taught me if you make the effort in life to do what is necessary, you will be aided by God in achieving your goals. It is important to have faith in this process and to remain confident in your ability to make change in your life.
