We had the good fortune of connecting with Imani & Iman Lee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Imani & Iman, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
The only way to insure failure is to not try. We see risks as opportunities! They are either going to work out, or not… but if we don’t take them, how will we learn? There has been many instances where we have to go out of our comfort zone and take risks that we may not be comfortable with. What we learned from these experiences was if we weigh the pros and cons and are happy with the potential wins and losses we will make our decision from there.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We created Lee’s Luxury Outings because we cherish every minute we have with our loved ones, and love to create a positive ambiance for others to do the same. We genuinely enjoy creating memorable luxury experiences for people to connect and find joy in each other’s company.

Starting up our business was far from easy. We quickly realized that the work we put into our brand is what we will get out of it. Meaning we must post constantly on social media, brainstorm new ideas and strategies to keep evolving and reaching new heights, invest all that we have into Lee’s Luxury Outings so it can exceed its potential.

What we want people to take away from our luxury outings are that we strive to exceed all expectations our customers have and we will take our time and do all we can to provide the best customer service and experience we possibly can.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Dependent among location, we travel all across the valley and have a list of different parks we can host in. This includes but is not limited to, in Phoenix we have Granada, Papago, and South Mountain Park. In Tempe we have Tempe Town Lake, Kiwanis, and Rio Salado Park. In Scottsdale we have Chaparral and Pinnacle Peak Park, and so on. Our favorite park to host luxury outings is Tempe Town Lake. The scenery is gorgeous and there are always cool activities to watch and participate in. It is located right across from Arizona State University’s stadium so there is never a dull moment. There after, we discovered the absolute best vegan soul food restaurant is Nana’s Kitchen, located in Chandler, AZ. (Which is also available for catering through Lee’s Luxury Outings.) It quickly became our favorite restaurant hands down and we recommend it to everyone! They serve the best home made lemonade, Papa Mayberries LLC, whose flavors change by week.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We would like to give a huge thank you to Erica Toatley, owner and operator of Tiny Blessings Salon, Spa, & Celebrations. She played a pivotal role in the success of Lee’s Luxury Outings through her support and mentorship. We would not be where we are today without her help.
