We had the good fortune of connecting with Isaac Apley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Isaac, what do you attribute your success to?
Consistency, from the moment I wake up to the moment I fall asleep I’m constantly thinking about my brand and the ways that I can further better and grow this into something special. I demand a lot out of myself when it comes to this brand, I’m always working on content or skills that can better help my brand. Over the past 3+ years I have put in thousands of hours of work, along with putting out content every single day for my followers.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I own and solely operate a newsletter entirely dedicated to sneakers. Whether it be new releases, custom shoes, or anything else related to the sneaker community. I have a couple of projects I’m working on that I can’t share info on but I hope to have those done this year and ready for my followers. One of the most memorable moments of this brand for me was hitting the 100k follower mark. This was a milestone that took nearly 3 years to accomplish, it wasn’t an easy task either. There were hundreds of late nights all throughout that time span and lots of moments where I felt discouraged, but I cannot thank my past self enough for sticking with it and never giving up.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I won’t lie, I have only lived in Phoenix for a few months now and most of the time I’m on my college campus, however one area I have loved visiting is Scottsdale. It’s a very nice area to walk around a there are plenty of activities to do and lots of good places to eat at.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents have played a huge role in my motivation for when it comes to running my brand. I started this brand while I was only a sophomore in Highschool, now I just turned 19 and a freshman in college. A good chunk of time I have spent creating this brand was while I lived at home still, they always supported me with whatever I did, and told me that I should always dream big. I truly believe the amazing support system that I received from my patience guided me to where I am today.
