We had the good fortune of connecting with Isabel Dellinger Candelaria and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Isabel, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I had no choice but to pursue a creative career as design is how I see the world. It was pursuing me as much as I was pursuing it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
That would be so fun! My husband Mark and I both like to cook, so I’m sure we would have a some friends over to join us and we would entertain at home a night or 2, but my other local favorites are Tarbell’s, Tratto, Rokerij, Beckett’s Table, Andreole’s Grocery, and Chelsea’s Kitchen. After all that eating we would likely need to do a hike or 2 at 32nd and Lincoln. We would for sure check out the Phoenix Art Museum, hit some estate sales, and maybe drive up to Sedona one day for lunch at Chocolatree and some gorgeous AZ views.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My Mom, for encouraging and believing in me. My husband, for his positivity and love. My team, for their intelligence and dedication to work towards our common and collaborative vision. My clients, for the opportunity to create beauty for them.
