We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason Barr and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jason, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Besides the obvious, providing excellent compassionate medical care, I have always treated each patient as I would like to be treated. I strive to treat each patient as I were treating a family member or close friend, with the same empathy and consideration.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Again, I just brought back lessons from early in my education- treat others as you wish to be treated! One can easily forget this concept as one goes through the long rigorous journey of medical education. I am proud that I still practice this philosophy.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would go to the beautiful red rocks of Sedona for some hiking, then a world class dining experience at Dahl and Deluca
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would definitely credit my beautiful wife and loving children for helping center me. They have taught me what true patience is and this correlates to my patient care.
