We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason Raducha and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jason, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I think the most important factor behind success is constancy. There is multiple layers of constancy. The quality of your offering and it being the same each and every time is huge. It builds trust with your customers and creates a basis for your staff. You also must be constant. Showing up to work every day with a positive attitude, the willingness to build and work as a team, showing your customer that you are there for them, because at the end of the day, it is because of the customer we can do what we love day in and day out.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We are excited to share our craft with everyone! Most people do not realize that the bread they are enjoying from us takes about 3 days to produce. We really embrace traditional techniques in what we do, with the use of wild yeasts, cultivated from the air, slow fermentation, and brick lined hearth ovens. Our goal is to highlight the work of the farmers that grow the wheat for us. We do not add any flavor enhancers or artificial ingredients. Just flour, water, and salt is in our Country loaves.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting me from out of town….. I would take them to a few places to eat, go to a resort and hang out, maybe a little pool time, or just sitting there and taking in the views of the desert. A must visit for me to share with a friend in Phoenix would be a record shop called The “in” Groove. The guy has everything there. I really enjoy listening to vinyl records. Perhaps the evening would rap up, with a little cooking at home over the wood grill and spin some tunes.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
