We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Jakobsen and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jennifer, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success in business is having clarity. I was unclear about where I was going in my business and who I was helping for a long time. Once I became clear on my vision for my business and who I was helping with my services, things became so much easier. Clarity has helped me to become confident when talking about my business as well as marketing and selling what I do.
What should our readers know about your business?
I help female entrepreneurs create clarity and confidence in their businesses and in life so they can make an impact and make more money in the process. What sets me apart is that I have been at a place in my life where I was very unclear and because of that I did not feel confident in selling my services. Once I gained this clarity, business became so much easier. I used to believe I had to be an expert in business to be an entrepreneur, but all of my education and experience in the field of psychology and therapy make me realize I was making it too complicated. Once I was able to truly believe I could help other women, I was able to do just that. The mindset and the psychology helped me to believe in myself so others could believe in my ability to help them. Now I am making the impact that I wanted to make and I love helping other women do the same.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I personally love shopping and eating, so my best friend would likely enjoy these things as well. I love hanging out in the Kierland/Scottsdale Quarter area since there are so many great places to shop and eat. Some of my favorites are Culinary Dropout and Sol Mexican Cuisine. It’s just fun to walk around and enjoy the beautiful area. I would also take them to the Old Town Scottsdale area to some of my favorite restaurants there. Two of my favorites are Toca Madera and Maple and Ash for a splurge. I love just walking around the riverfront there as well.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Lindsey Schwartz the creator of Powerhouse Women has inspired me to pursue my dreams and has also helped me make so many important connections with other female entrepreneurs in my industry.
