We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremiah Conley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeremiah, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
I think that at the beginning stages of everyone’s life there isn’t a good way to quantify balance. In my case, I did not have a balance until my second year of college when I truly figured out what major was right for me. I switched from mechanical engineering systems to Organizational leadership with a focus on Project management. This new major has brought more balance into my life as it allowed me to work on different skills that were more personal to me and allowed me to not only find what I was confident in but also allowed me to experience different opportunities to use that experience. This New balance is generally very important to me and it has become essential that I find different methods to uphold that.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I would call myself a creative that understands the world of business. I currently operate as a freelance photographer and I have an Instagram called photosunderthemoonlight. I would like to say That I am pretty good at my job, My art/My photos capture not only the energy of my subjects, this included not only other musicians and photographers but also models and all people that want to help me take a large step forward. I Have gotten to this professional level with the help of family and friends and the donations that have sent me forward into my respective career. It wasn’t easy as it takes a lot of work to be decent in any field or career, I have devoted 110% to my work and continue to do so so that I can fulfill all my expectations but also living like this is very fun and exciting. My brand may be small now but it will skyrocket if I continue to put effort into my craft.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Arizona is still fairly new to me so I would take them To San Tan village or the Tempe marketplace as it has a great variety of eateries and places to drink and hang out. I would love to show my friend the art and culture of the city so I would probably take them to an art museum and then just show them everything else that they might be interested in.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shout out ASU Polytechnic as it gave me the chance to use my skills for the PAB/Inferno insiders events but I would also like to thank some local Arizona talent known as the Vinyl faces as I am not only their photographer but I am also their manager. These two different groups of people have allowed me to use my project management skills and apply what I have learned in college to different aspects of my life and to the jobs that I have already created for myself.
