We had the good fortune of connecting with John & Brenda Patrick and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi John & Brenda, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
We know how beautiful it is at Lake Pleasant Regional Park and wanted to share the experience with others. We make it easy for others to get out and experience the Park and the magnificent beauty the lake has to offer. We do all the work for you. All you need to do is just show up and enjoy your day. We even provide plenty of water and a healthy snack.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our goal here at Desert Breeze Kayaking is to provide a place for kayaking newbies and enthusiasts to have a unique experience that they won’t find anywhere else. We pride ourselves in making your experience personal. We want everyone to have the best time of their lives that they will remember for years to come. We are very proud when our customers tell us that our kayak tours were one of the most beautiful and memorable things they have ever done. Starting up any business comes with challenges but our customers have made every step of the way well worth it. When you book a tour with Desert Breeze Kayaking you will experience not only a kayaking adventure but an experience. It is like attending the zoo, the gym, the museum and your therapist all in one. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If you are in the Phoenix, AZ area either visiting, vacationing or even on a business trip I would highly recommend a Desert Breeze Kayaking Tour. There is no better way to experience what Arizona has to offer than experiencing its beauty than on a kayak. After your kayak tour I would recommend a nice patio lunch maybe somewhere in the town of Wickenburg, AZ. An old western town where Arizona history runs rampant. Shopping at the antique stores is a fun way to meet some of the old timers and a great way to learn the history that Arizona has to offer.
