Hi Johni’, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I first decided to make things official and start a mobile hair business the first thing I thought about was how convenient I would be to others. Im a mobile braider so anyone with or without transportation would still be able to be serviced, new moms or moms with small kids would benefit by allowing me to come to them without the hassle of uprooting the kids from their environment. I also provide the hair for the styles the client chooses, so therefore the only thing that need to happen is a small consultation upon request with any questions and then I book appointment.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Im a mobile braider and provide a multitutde of services including : box braids, knotless braids, feed in braids, lemonade braids, boho braids, starter locs, loc retwist, comb twist, senegalese twists, marley twists, faux locs and more! What sets me apart from most is that I travel to you along with providing hair.

I am a diverse braider -meaning I can work with all hair types and textures. I have experience styling behind the scenes for photo shoots , fashion shows hair shows and events involving hair models . I work well under pressure and manage time well.

It was not easy trying to balance momlife fulltime job life and braider life. But im making it work and I have learned to schedule clients on my off days and not do too many per week to not overwork myself and sleep lol !

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my friend or friends come to visit . I may take them to visit the downtown phoenix area. Check out a few art museums and roof top bar and grills. We may also check out the casino and visit a few eateries near the area . And lastly we may go to a few of the outlet malls here and do some retail therapy.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shoutout to my parents, kids and close friends. They all showed me support from the beginning and have trusted me to service them and try styles on them. I really appreciate their love encouragement and support throughtout my career. All the post shares , referrals, tags for services dont go unrecognized.
