We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordan Fernandez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jordan, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
With so many responsibilities and tasks coming at me constantly as a business owner, staying on top of everything without getting overwhelmed can be a challenge. My solution has been that I always write down any tasks or issues that arise in a notebook and live by my notes. I work to check off things that have already been on the list and anything that comes down the pipeline I add to the list to address later. This has been key for moving everything forward and avoiding getting sidetracked or overwhelmed. In the evening, if things come up, rather than stress about them I put them down in my notebook to address tomorrow or later in the week, and then I try to let go of obsessing about it. It’s very tempting to try to hop on the computer late in the evening and troubleshoot issues immediately, however more often than not that leads to inefficiencies and further difficulties, so I’ve gotten a lot better about adding issues to my notebook and efficiently addressing them during the work day.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take anyone visiting me here in Tucson to the Tucson Botanical Gardens. It is an exceptional experience and a great getaway from being in the city, getting a little slice of nature. I would also take them up Mount Lemmon for it’s exceptional views and completely different environment.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, my wife and daughter have played a key role in my growth and success thus far. Their unwavering support as I grow my business has been key for keeping me on track. I am very disciplined about carving out time for the family and they are also very good about respecting my work time and supporting me to get to the office and accomplish what I need to accomplish. The next shout out would be Danny Sawaya from Tucson strength. Danny hired us relatively early on to do some work for him and it went very well. His referral has helped me close a ton more business after we finished our project with him. He used us instead of our competitor and we did a great job, but most importantly, he trusted us and believed in us to take care of him and his business in regard to their SEO needs.
I also want to thank Louis Martin, who currently works for Digitopia out of San Diego. Louis was one of the first people who introduced me to SEO and marketing, and encouraged me to pursue it as a career.
I also want to thank Julien Brandt, who has provided excellent insights and mentorship to me based on his experience growing and successfully exiting a 7-figure marketing agency.
Next, I want to thank my mom and dad, who always encouraged me to be creative, take risks, and supported me in my entrepreneurial endeavors ever since I was a teenager. Without their support and encouragement, it’s very possible that I would not have taken this path.
Finally, I want to thank and give a shout out to my amazing in-house team. Each team member plays a key role in getting our work done for clients and keeping our projects moving forward. Without my team, I would not be able to run my operation.
