We had the good fortune of connecting with Julie Khaled and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Julie, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Every good thing in my life has happened after taking a leap of faith. Getting married, having kids, starting a business. Nothing worth having comes from within your comfort zone.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I take pride in building genuine, personal connections with each of my clients. They aren’t just another number in our system. Because we primarily work with small to medium-sized businesses, I make it a priority to bring a personal touch to everything we do.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is a fun one!!

For a day trip….

First stop: Black Rock Coffee Bar. They have the best espresso and cozy couches to lounge in.
I would also love to grab a Barre or Spin class. Then we would get lunch at Chop Shop. Maybe head to DT Gilbert for Postino’s happy hour and split a charuterie board and a bottle of wine.

For a longer trip….
Black Rock on our way to Flagstaff or Pinetop! And then we would do tons of hiking and exploring in the crisp mountain air.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First off, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He doesn’t take away the pain and struggles in this life, but He walks alongside us and helps us grow.

Second, my husband, Andrew. He is my biggest support and encouragement. He seems to always know what to say to make me smile.

Third, my family and friends have continually been my “hype crew”. They are always there to engage with my social media posts, and refer new business.
