We had the good fortune of connecting with Julliana Garten and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Julliana, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I’m an Interior and Fashion Designer, with over 20 years of experience. I’m from Brazil where I graduated with an Architecture, Interior Design, City Plan and Landscape Design degree. I’ve worked with the best names in the industry, both in Brazil and USA, until I decided to launch my own company. Since then I has been creating beautiful, unique, personalized, and functional spaces and fashionable jewelry for her remarkable customers.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
J.Garten Design creates beautiful, unique, personalized, and functional spaces and fashionable jewelry for our remarkable customers. J.Garten has been invite to participate in fashion and Interior Design events, runway shows, magazine publications, TV segments and Julliana has won multiple awards for her prestigious work. I Started working as an architect and Interior designer since my first year of school as an intern for one of the biggest Architecture firm in Brazil, where I learned the principals of Architecture, designing big projects like hospitals, schools, malls, stores, restaurants, bars, residences. At the same time, I was always designing and making jewelry as a hobby which quickly turned into a business. When I moved to US I had the amazing opportunity to work with big names in the industry here as well including being one of the designers for the Victoria’s Secret Stores.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Monday-Wednesday I would take them to Sedona to relax and take in the natural beauty Thursday- Sunday Back to the Valley to enjoy the local restaurants, spas, and resorts
