Meet Kaiden Arellanes | Marketing Specialist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kaiden Arellanes and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kaiden, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I am originally from Tucson, Arizona. The area I grew up in was known as the “south side.” This side of town was not the most developed or opportunistic as other areas. Many houses were run down, and gang activity flooded the streets after a certain time of day. My family was not completely broke, but we did have the wonderful spaghetti dinner that would last for a full week time to time. My upbringing impacted me in a way where I am grateful for every opportunity that comes my way. My background I did not have much because of income status my parents had. Today I appreciate what I do have and make sure to help others when I can. Wether that is to be inspiration, a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, whatever the person needs.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is the medium that I use to express myself. The art can translate into makeup, drawing, photography, and just my everyday work. I am most excited about being able to share my photography, travel stories, and makeup online. This provides me peace while being authentically me. The road to where I got to with my career has not been easy. Many challenges have popped up along the way. However, with every difficult moment that comes along I always remember to appreciate the good that is there. My brand is the definition of me and my delusional fairytale. My life is full of wonder and the idealization of living like a “fairy princess.” That is something my kid self would be so surprised to see. My life motto is “Life your life that your 5 year old self dreamed of, but a life your 80 year old self would love to reflect on.”
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Just recently I traveled back home to Arizona with my boyfriend. The weekend was full of activities and places we went to. The trip first started off with a trip down to Tucson. There is a bakery named “Estrella Bakery.” This bakery holds many near and dear childhood memories that I wanted to share with. We also took a stop at El Charro for a bite to eat during lunch. Eegees is always a cult classic down in Tucson. We were in town to see the Renaissance Festival located in Gold Canyon. I highly recommend everyone to go to the festival. Located in Tempe I would also suggest people to catch a show at Sunbar if you partake in the nightlife scene.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The recognition I want to give to would have to be my older brother. He raised me and took me in with full custody after my father passed away. I would not be here today if it was not for him.
