We had the good fortune of connecting with 11Moi11 and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi 11Moi11, can you tell us about a book that has had a meaningful impact on you?
The two books that changed my life are The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and The War of Art by Steven Pressfield. I would recommend those books to anyone who’s questioning their creative side and things happening to them. I also recommend listening to Podcasts like Ed Mylett, Bedros Kruilian, Tom Bilyeu, or Lewis Howes. They have great interviews on all sorts of people who made it in their respectful careers.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
This year (2020) I have gained more traction on Spotify, Apple Music, and Shazam. It makes sense since I have been marketing and advertising my music in other countries trying to expand my brand 11Moi11. It’s a lot of work doing it by myself, but I enjoy every single moment of it. The other big advantage I have in the EDM scene is that I’m not focused on one genre, I create what I like and release it independently. My plan for 2021 I will start focusing on producing heavy bass music and connecting more with the local scene. Shoutout to Relentless Beats for bringing different EDM artists to perform in AZ.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would make my friends visit me during a rave festival weekend at Rawhide. Throughout the weekday I would take them to visit Sedona for a hiking trip and swimming. Night time visit downtown Phoenix for a music event or a comedy show. And for a more relaxing environment grab food at downtown Chandler.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
A special shoutout to my biggest supporters my brother Jose Erik Bautista and my parents (Jose Bautista & Eugenia Salazar). They have seen me work constantly and never had doubts in my music career. Lastly I would like to thank my new fans who are discovering my music, I love you guys. Your positive comments and feedback give me fuel to produce more music.
