Meet Kamil Jones | Artist/Engineer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kamil Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kamil, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
I try to feed the people what needs to be heard. What may not be a popular opinion. The things people don’t acknowledge when navigating life. My goal is to bring the love back and make people see the world through empathetic and understanding eyes rather than thinking the world revolves around them. I am working on bringing back genuine unity and coexistence.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve been dedicated to musical arts for over 13 years. The journey has been intense and life changing. When I began my craft, music was in a positive state, so I took that and ran with it. I would venture to say I was very similar to the artists I enjoyed. After time has passed musics purpose and influence has changed drastically. I have made it my purpose to set a new narrative. I have learned how easy it is to get to caught up in various trends. I’ve learned how important it is to find YOURSELF in your music. Self love and awareness is the key to bringing the external love we artists desire. The love that brings life long fans and supporters.. I am always excited to see reactions to my new music, and excited mostly just to be able to create the art in the first place. I’ve spent a lot of time and energy doing shows which I love so much. My brand is Chozen which really is self explanatory as to why. I believe everyone is chozen but there has to be a desire to answer the call, take the risk, and catch the rewards.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We definitely are going to be crushing up dry herb to kick it off. I’m big on being in the studio so I would definitely invite my buddy to the studio. We gotta make a song and do a video. Hang around some solid people and really soak in Georgia. There’s a lot to do and nothing at all at the same time. I’m not huge on clubs and bars but I would go out just to honor my brothers presence.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I appreciate Rico for helping me receive this opportunity. Shoutout my team Fancy Crew. They have a lot in the works, we are building. My mother and father. We aren’t always on the same page but thé love is real. Friends family and others. It’s thanks too many. It’s a lot of people that are assisting me in my journey in their own way. And I love it. I feel blessed beyond measure.
