We had the good fortune of connecting with Kat Cynewski and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kat, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I believe that risk-taking has been a key piece in the growth of my business and life. I view risks as an opportunity to expand.
Some of the biggest risks so far in my life and business have led to the greatest growth. From taking a 1 month sabbatical from my corporate job to get my 500hr yoga teacher training in India, to leaving my corporate job without proof I could make it financially as a yogipreneur, to investing in my first coach before having proof that it would pay back, to launching new programs, events, or retreats. If I didn’t risk these things I would have missed out on the best experiences of my life.
What should our readers know about your business?
I coach wellness leaders and soul-led coaches to build wealth from the inside out. I teach on mindset, personal growth, yoga/wellness, and business strategy. I believe in the whole human growth, not just plugging a business problem with a solution. I truly believe that when we go deeper we are able to rise higher.
Joining yoga and business coaching wasn’t easy for me to truly own. In the beginning, I thought I had to choose between being a yoga instructor or a business coach but when I released the need to fit myself into one box I found that I attracted more of the right clients and found more profound client results by focusing on the whole woman, not just the strategy.
I learned a big lesson in leaning into what makes you, you which is far more powerful than trying to be a copy/paste version of someone else’s success.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My clients! Without my clients taking risks on themselves and taking bold action to build the life and business of their dreams by sharing their unique gifts, I wouldn’t be in business, My clients really are the heartbeat of my work. They are what makes it so fulfilling and inspire me to continue taking risks to serve them better.
