We had the good fortune of connecting with Kyle Krantz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kyle, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Originally when I was planning my life, I was going to go to school, get a job, and save money for the rest of my life to hopefully one day retire in my 60’s. My senior year in high school I read the book, “Rich Dad Poor Dad” and that changed everything for me. From that point on I knew I was going to be a business owner if I ever wanted to get out of the Rat Race and live a life of financial freedom.

Once I started studying entrepreurship I learned that in order to be successful, you have to learn how to help other people. So now I have the pleasure of helping people buy, sell, and manage their real estate investments, and they pay me to do what I love!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My primary business currently is renovating and selling houses. I can’t say that I’m much different in the “what” I do than the many other people out there when it comes to flipping a house or selling a house for a client. But what I can say how I’m different is the level of care that I put in to helping clients buy or sell homes. I feel personally invested in the outcome of getting them into their dream home or selling their house for the most amount of money and I care about building lifelong relationships with my clients as an expert advisor. It’s not just a transaction to me, it’s the beginning of a friendship.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m a big fan of outdoor adventure and getting a good workout in, so I would want to take them hiking to all the cool spots. In Arizona I love the Camelback mountain hike, and exploring in Sedona, or California would be probably The Bridge to Nowhere hike, the Top of the World hike in Laguna or Peter’s Canyon in Tustin. I recently took up mounting biking and have been exploring the trails in the Estrella Mountains in Goodyear, AZ and would take them along. We’d have to visit Lake Havasu to go boating and jump into the perfect water in Havasu during the summer. And then we’d have to finish the week off-roading in ATV’s where you don’t have to worry about getting a speeding ticket. I love driving fast, but I’ve never gone to a track so that might be a lot of fun as well. I’m very easy to please when it comes to food so I can eat anywhere and be happy so I’d have to let them make our food decisions for us. Haha

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have to dedicate my shoutout to my parents. They absolutely have been instrumental in giving me the skills, background and motivation to accomplish what I have achieved so far in life. They gave me 8 brothers and sisters to fight with to hone my people skills. They were very strict with us which taught me the importance of discipline. And they provided enough for my basic needs and didn’t spoil me, which taught me hunger (not literally) and the importance of earning and investing to set myself up financially. They spent the time when we were younger to read to all of us and have us read to them which provided a solid educational foundation to then grow and maintain a voracious appetite for knowledge and learning that still survives to this day. I always knew they loved me and what they did was because they wanted the best for me.
