We had the good fortune of connecting with Lacey Phillips- Youngs and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lacey, what do you attribute your success to?
I have always seen beauty in ordinary things. Being able to take the ordinary and reveal the magic in it is where my success comes from. There is nothing I love to photograph more than human connection and authentic emotions. As long as I keep seeing the beauty in the little things, I think I will continue to be successful in my craft.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I believe what sets me a part is that I am in tune to other’s emotions; I really care about my clients, being sure they have the best experience and that I create high quality photographs that really reflect genuine emotions and meaningful moments to them.
Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I love coming up with game plans like these! Eat: Espos, Diego Pops, Liberty Market, Yanagi Sushi Drinks: The Century Grand, Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour Hiking: Lost Dutchman State Park, Sedona (Including the wineries), Grand Canyon Places: Harkins Theatre (always!), Old Town Scottsdale and Downtown Chandler/Gilbert on a bike ride Also, we would bring board games everywhere because those are the best.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
