Hi Laura, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
I used to work on my business 24/7 but after a few years, I felt more secure and started to carve out more time for myself. At some point, you have to reap the benefits of all your hard work. I started by taking every other weekend off and still worked nights. Now I don’t work nights or weekends! My work excites me so I need the balance of working/creating and then relaxing and doing other life activities. My balance may change over time or with particular projects and that’s okay. I have no hard rules, I just feel into what’s right and the right time.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My work is tailored to working one-on-one with clients so they get the attention they need in their business and their projects. My business has morphed into what it is now by offering different services and finding the sweet spot. Nothing brings me more joy than to be able to utilize my knowledge of business and mindset combined with my creativity in designing and writing copy for brands and people!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I started in this “online business” world as a life & business coach, but after taking Marie Forleo’s B-School in 2014, I began to morph my business over time. The amount of knowledge and skill I gained from participating in her program and learning from her was a turning point in my life and my business. The community was amazing too. I always dreamt of business besties, and I was finally surrounded by my kind of people.
