We had the good fortune of connecting with Lisa Hall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lisa, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Prior to starting my own business, I worked in corporate America for over 2 decades. Stepping out of that world into a small business environment has been one of the most inspirational experiences of my life. The most important factor driving success is valuing our customers. Our customers are essential to a thriving business. Their direct feedback, support and ideas help create the success of our brand. Often, we will launch a new product based on customers coming along side with a need they want fulfilled. Their patronage and loyalty drive our company forward. Another key factor driving our success has been collaborating with other small business leaders. Cross-collaboration with other leaders broaden our perspective on local and regional trends, too.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started my career in the foodservice business working for Hormel Foods and then transferring to the Campbell Soup Company. I worked for the Campbell Soup Company for almost two decades. My strategic role was working with top chefs to develop proprietary formulas for their national, restaurant chains. Some of my most memorable experiences were hosting trips to the Culinary Institute of Napa (CIA) with key chefs. We would study global flavor trends and then translate those flavorscapes into recipe ideas. One of my chef mentors from Germany would always say, “recipes have to be simple and synergistic.”

It was an exciting journey that inspired me to launch my own company in 2019. I wanted to introduce food grade, organic and synergist skincare. The products we put on our skin affect our overall health. As a new mom, health and wellness became the forefront of my focus and passion. So in 2019, I developed and launched a line of clean, mineral-rich skincare. It was an exciting moment that seemed like a dream come true! Six months after launching my company, supermodel and business leader, Kathy Ireland and her team, reached out to me to feature our company on her TV show, “Modern Living with kathy ireland®.” It has been an amazing journey!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
So I love to hike! Some of my favorites spots include Gate’s Pass and hiking Sky Island. We would take a trip to the top of Mount Lemmon and hike along the Sky Island ridgeline. The fresh air, wildflowers, vibrate ferns and endless views are so refreshing! Afterwards we would grab a bowl of soup at the “Iron Door” sitting on the patio overlooking Mount Lemmon Ski Valley. We would also make sure to catch the sunset on top of Gates Pass with a picnic. Nature inspires and provides new, fresh ideas for our business, too!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a huge shoutout of appreciation to my mom! She has provided amazing encouragement, support and wisdom throughout this entire process. I am super grateful for her loving support.
