We had the good fortune of connecting with Majo Mansour and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Majo, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When i started the business ,i just became a new mom . and i noticed that there was nothing on the market that was very easy to grab and go that can replace a sweet tooth, nutritious , balanced and when you look at the ingredients you feel safe sharing it with your little ones. so i decided to start the company offering high quality organic ingredients , no preservatives , vegan and gluten free as well as nut free in some flavors so the bites can suit almost all dietary restrictions. I really wanted a bit that can check many marks, in this day and age we are living in it is almost impossible for us and specially kids to stay away from highly processed and artificially fortified chips and snacks without any added benefits. with Midi bites i hope to start and be the part of the shift to a cleaner snack option movement.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
what sets Midi bites apart from others is we are truly determined to never cut corners, we spend so much time vetting all our suppliers, to make sure not only they are of the highest quality but also maintain their nutritional qualities that often get lost or minimized depending on the production process, region its coming from … We face alot of challenges everyday as our market is very competitive yet competition is very small when it comes to the refrigerated snack section, as a growing small business it is harder sometimes to compete but what most i am so honored and proud of is that people actually can see the difference and choose us over others because of what we offer. Also persistence is key, i learned early on if i give up i wont see whats to come next every challenge teaches me and Midi bites something new and a step forward to the better .

Our Promise is always fresh, nutritious, balances and safe snack you can enjoy and share with anyone. we are Launching this month Midi Kids our new line focused on kids where they can take to school , low glycemic snack, has 3 grams of protein each bite, 100% nut free and organic. no preservatives.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
mmm, this is so hard Arizona has so many fund things to do. Day one : I think i would start with a fun dinner and walk around old town .
Day two: go on a hike on Camelback then brunch at Montelucia and spend the day at the pool or spa and their pool.
Day three: Head to sedona walk around, do a fun hike, grab Juice or salad from local juicery. Have dinner at Mariposa where you get to see the amazing mountain views and feel the peace.
Day 4: go to Flagstaff explore downtown, go to out of Africa wildlife park
Day 5: take grand canyon or Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend Tour
Day 6: back to phoenix where you cant miss firs friday and downtown Phoenix

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Honestly this is very hard, there is so many people and things that helped me reach where i am today.from the beginning i would say my mom , dad and my husband where my biggest fan. each one in their own way. My mom always told me to be straight forward, and persistent on what i believe in , My dad always said go with your gut if it feels wrong most likely it will be which i think saved me so many times and my husband encouragement and push that helped me get into so many stores. and one of the biggest supports that helped me alot when i was starting are Arizona farmers markets they give any new business an amazing opportunity for exposure.
