Meet Marisol Vindiola | Sr. Director of Multicultural Marketing, Visit Tucson

We had the good fortune of connecting with Marisol Vindiola and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marisol, what do you attribute your success to?
My bilingualism and biculturalism have been the most important factors behind my success. These unique qualities have allowed me to connect with people from both Arizona and Sonora on a deeper level, creating meaningful relationships that have fueled my success in the tourism industry. My experiences in the industry have also taught me that regional cultural experiences have the power to bridge borders and foster understanding between people from different cultures. By embracing these cultural experiences, we can create a more welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors. My 15-year tourism career, which began at the entry level and has progressed to Sr. Director of Multicultural Marketing at Visit Tucson, has provided me with the opportunity to fully embrace my bilingualism and biculturalism, as well as to learn from industry experts about the Arizona-Mexico cross-border market and within the Hispanic market in the U.S. I have also helped build international media outreach and cross-cultural connections with businesses, media, influencers, community, and government leaders from both sides of the border.
I believe that the most important factor behind my success is my passion for tourism. I love connecting people with new places and experiences.
