We had the good fortune of connecting with Meredyth Willits and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Meredyth, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
Growing up I didn’t have many skills for success. I was left to figure it out and fend for myself to deal with my emotions, struggles and challenges. I want to make the world an easier place to live. I want to give people the tools I have developed and use, to make the challenges in life, the mental and emotional roller-coaster of being human a little easier.

I like to share on my podcast real life, practical strategies I use daily to not become overwhelmed. I share with my Tiktok and Instagram followers short bits of information to hopefully change the way they interact with the world and themselves.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am an Intuitive Life Coach, which means I use clairvoyance and other psychic abilities to help people in their daily life. I coach business owners, moms, 20-somethings and CEOs live their best lives by way of honest and real help. Most of my clients say that after one hour with me they could have saved 20 years of therapy.

I also love helping people for free! I do a weekly Podcast, “Meredyth with a Why,” that drops every Tuesday. I love sharing stories and other tips and tools to help people live an easier life. I have different series topics from Abuse, Women of Color, Women in Business, Spiritual and solo episodes. The solo episodes are most like my coaching, but I am passionate about sharing other people’s stories so the interviews are wonderful. I also did a Summer Series with my ex-husband’s wife called, WE MARRIED RICH wich talks about how we raised 2 kids between two households and four parents. I interviewed my two adult children and got their take on what it was like as well. The podcast is great because it is a wonderful place to send clients when they want more information and help.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live in the Chicagoland area so we would definitely have to hit Tao for some drinks and RPM Steak for dinner. After dinner popping over to a Chicago Speakeasy for some live music or to The House of Blues for a concert would be perfection!

Brunch is always at Beatnik on the River for the best vibe, view and drinks the city has to offer.

Walking Chicago is the best way to take it all in. From Lake Michigan, to the people, restaurants, bars and museums, Chicago is non-stop fun and excitement.

After all of that we would definitely have to take in a White Sox game at Guaranteed Rate Field and root on the best team in the city!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband Jim and my four kids, Cody, Skylar, Emersyn and Brock are truly my inspiration to grow, and my anchor to feel safe. Each and every moment I put myself out there and try to be an inspiration and help people I have them all in mind. My husband has been supportive of everything I have ever done, and that is no small task. My kids may not always understand what I am doing and I may be on my phone a lot, but they roll with it and understand that mom just has to be mom.
