Meet Michael Brown | Photographer/Videographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michael, why did you pursue a creative career?
My path to my current position in life has always been art driven. At the age of 16 I grew a very strong passion for music creation. From age 16-24 all I did was eat, sleep, and go to the studio. It was around this time when I was asked by another musician if I have ever tried recording videos or was good with a camera. It was this spark that inspired me to begin my journey into photography and videography.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am most excited to get to work with drones and all the abilities they have to bring a different perspective to film. In my opinion there is only one way to become a professional in anything, that’s hard work and dedication. The most important thing is to never give up on what you are striving for. The biggest thing is to just know you will fail, and what you do after you fail will make or break you.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I really enjoy being out in nature so I would most likely want to show them some great trails over by the superstition mountains. Most people taking a trip to Arizona hear about the Mexican food and so I would say we’d get a burrito at someburro and maybe some drink over in down town chandler.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to say thank you to my family and my beautiful wife for always supporting me and my dreams.
