We had the good fortune of connecting with Michele Meyer and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michele, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
Trauma healing happens through awareness and clarity. This center is a safe space for anyone to face, explore, and heal trauma. Many beneficial holistic modalities heal the five bodies: Spiritual, Mental, Emotional, Physical, and Energetic. Recovering from trauma is real. By bringing the five bodies together, you CAN and WILL experience freedom beyond your wildest dreams. People will remember us through the healing that happens within themselves. Our clients heal and share their recovery with others.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I opened this trauma resolution center after I experienced my own healing from childhood trauma. This sets me apart because my clients’ trust, connect, and feel safe knowing I have been where they are. I am proud of the practitioners that share my vision and work here. They are able to bring their unique gifts, experience, education, and passion to this center. Opening during a pandemic was a challenge on its own, regardless of the learning opportunities of starting a business from the ground up. I uncovered strengths, resiliency, and perseverance in a way I have never experienced before. I never doubted that opening this center was my life’s purpose. I want the world to know that I am proof that healing from childhood trauma happens.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would start with a hike and meditate at Lost Dog Trail in Scottsdale, Arizona. After enjoying the beautiful scenic views, we would share a bite to eat at Green in Tempe, Arizona. We would then enjoy facials and massages at my center because I know I have the best people to take care of us! Then, depending on the season, we would enjoy a live sporting event… baseball, hockey, football, etc. I would take them to Sedona for a two-night trip and eat at Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill. We would explore crystal shops, Yoga and shop at local boutiques. If time permits, we would go to the Castle Hot Spring Resort and bathe in the mineral hot springs.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The first shoutout is to Alcoholics Anonymous. Because I was sober, I could begin my trauma-healing journey. To my daughter Sarah, without you, I would not be alive today. I am grateful for my spirituality as it continues to lead and guide me.
