Meet Mitch AKA TWOOFF | Twitch Partner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mitch AKA TWOOFF and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mitch, how does your business help the community?
How does my streaming business help the community or the world?
Positivity, good vibes & good times! I worked really hard to build a space that not only provides entertainment, but also a strong community where everyone feels good. A place where people can hang out after a long day of work or school & everyone knows your name and welcomes you, like Norm from CHEERS!! That goes a long way, especially on the internet!
The Stream has viewers of all ages, from a wide range locales as far off as Bulgaria, all over The States and, of course, Arizona!
We are all over the world, but we are in it together.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve been a Partnered Streamer on Twitch for over 4 years. What is Twitch? What’s a Stream? Think a YouTube video, but the video and comment section are live!
Most people think Twitch Streaming is just playing video games in a room, but it is so much more. While online, I am running the live stream, changing scenes in OBS stream software, reading the live chat, welcoming new viewers and followers and giving shout outs for donations and subscriptions.
Over the years, I have also become a video editor, audio engineer, and PC builder/ IT support. I keep an open mind and am always looking to learn new things which has really enhanced my stream. When I first started out, my equipment that was old and out of date. Computers dying during streams, audio not working, internet issues. It was chaotic!! Gradually, I have reinvested and slowly upgraded and continued to improve, to the point you see the stream today.
I am very focused on my production value. Since day ONE (even though it took some time), my goal has always been creating the best viewing experience. With over 9 million streamers (as of Jan 2022) and counting, I figured if I could offer a little bit more then just watching the game, maybe people would want to click-in, stick around AND come back for more!
Most Twitch Partners are loved for their skill (pro gamer), or they are a celebrity. I’m just a dude, in a room, playing the games for fun – and that is what we do. We have FUN. I’m so proud of the community that has been with me over the years. They bring something to the streams that you cannot buy – they bring energy and are always hyped! I am nothing without the people day in and day showing up to enjoy the show or out there helping run the stream.
Currently, I mostly stream Halo Infinite – the newest game from Xbox and Microsoft but in addition to gaming with my community, we have also gone on other adventures together. Cooking dinner, building a PC and even traveling – camera in hand, walking the streets of a new place.
Occasionally, there have been some less than kind viewers. One of the biggest lessons I have learned along the way is to have a thick skin. Putting myself out there with a camera and a microphone on a live feed & chat where anyone can say anything took time to get used to. I am now at a place where I heard it all and find even the negative comments hilarious.
One of the greatest things I take from this experience is, if you put your mind to something, you can make almost anything a reality. I like to think my stream is an example of that – a crazy idea that kept growing and going!
If you ever find yourself online, come stop by my little slice of the internet.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Week-long trip? Lots of stops – mostly involving food!
We would have to stop at Ziggys Pizza in Downtown Phx for pizza, wings, and libations!
Another must stop would be The Tee PeeMexican restaurant. Great vibe and great food.
We would make our way up to Flagstaff (went to NAU). Our first meal would be at Diablo Burger then we would hit the bars.
Once back near Phoenix, would take a trip to the wild west… Cave Creek! The Hideaway and The Horny Toad are must-stops up there for great food, live music, and drinks!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There is no way I could do what I do everyday if it were not for my streaming community and the love and support of my family and close friends. Special shoutout to Dr. Laurie Trapp of Gonstead Performance Chiropractic, who has been fixing up my back, so that I can stream again… and of course my sidekick Jack, the best “doggo” on the internet.
