We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Anders and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Providing a happy household, where everyones needs are being met is what makes me happy. This includes my husband, Mycal, our two children, Trystan and Camryn, as well as myself. When each of us is receiving what we need from each other, we are better able to show up as our best and highest versions of ourselves; in life, in our professional career, and in our relationships with each other. Mycal and I own a demanding, yet thriving business, on top of having two young children who deserve to have two parents who are present and at their best as much as possible. This requires honest, constant communication and quite the balancing act between Mycal and I. Every day is different. Some days I have to provide a little more, other days Mycal needs to provide a little more, to make our happy household run smoothly. We work extremely hard at providing this type of functionality for our family. Every single minute is worth it.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The 2020 pandemic brought a lot of change to our family dynamic. As a previous event coordinator, my business was over for the foreseeable future. However, It didn’t seem to bother me. What bothered me, was wondering if a pandemic was going to close my husband’s CrossFit gym of 7 years. I didn’t and wasn’t going to let that happen. As a professional, who’s genius is in the details, I knew if I could run the business, it would allow Mycal, to be the business, his genius. At the same time, we had two small children at home, who were now home, all day long. Overnight, I became a stay-at-home mom, learning to run a business in my spare time. In my mind, I had no other choice, but to succeed. Some might ask, why I gave up my career to help my husband with his? I have never once thought that about our situation. I have never felt more aligned as a family and professional than I am today. We are winning together, we are learning together, and we are building a life together. We are partners in every sense of the word.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are have been many influential people in my life, that have led me to the woman I am today. But there are two who stand out over everyone else. The first is my Dad, Bob Luchsinger. I credit the quiet, calm, determined, and confident women I am, to growing up his, a coach’s, daughter. The second is my husband, Mycal Anders. I have learned from him, through tough conversations and mistakes made to goal setting and manifestation, we are powerful beyond our own knowledge. We have given each other the power to live our best
lives….together.
