We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Demas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I was a kid I always knew I wanted to work for myself. I started cleaning my neighbors house when I was 13 years old, and that was the beginning of me truly loving the ability to make my own schedule. I worked as a paralegal for a few years, finding myself either glued to a desk or stuck in traffic daily, feeling like I never saw the sunlight. I realized that wasn’t a lifestyle that best suited me. I never saw my boss taking a lunch break the same time everyday or asking if he could take a vacation, I wanted to be that person. Shortly after, I began working in the restaurant industry, which opened my eyes to the fact that I loved to work with people and provide an experience more than a transaction.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I would have to say the thing that sets me apart the most is my ability to relate to others so well. I have encountered many obstacles and situations in life that allow me to see most things from the glass half full. I got to where I am today with hard work, motivation and always having a bigger goal in mind. I want the world to know nothing is too big or too small for me to conquer. My heart is so big when it comes to people and helping them, and that transpires through my personal and work life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Where should we start, dinner and drinks? MAPLE AND ASH! Okay, that was a little bias! When Im not showing properties I bartend there a few nights a week! (come see me). Scottsdale is the absolute best place to live for so many reasons you can enjoy a hike up Camelback Mountain, there are as many golf courses as their are Starbucks. You can enjoy many lakes, or float the salt river. In a short drive you can hit the slopes, the beach in Mexico, or the views of Sedona. The options are endless here.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are many pieces to this puzzle. If I had to chose one person who has encouraged or supported me most through my story, I would have to say my fiancé Mike. He has always pushed me to want more, and to live my full potential. Fear holds people back from making the next step in their life, but when you have someone who washes that fear away it makes you unstoppable. Next, my dad, one of the hardest workers I know- watching him never give up and support me with whatever outrageous idea I had next. Lastly, my mother – someone Ive always wanted to hear say Im proud of you. Im confident she’s looking down from heaven with all smiles.
