Hi Niki, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The key factor behind my brand and success is in creating and developing meaningful relationships with fellow vendors, industry professionals and clients. Over the years I have prided myself on delivery of an incredible product of outstanding service level, attention to detail and responsiveness. By creating this reputation, I have been able to create and maintain fruitful relationships for my business. I truly believe the best marketing a small business can conduct is word of mouth and reputation in your industry.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We Create Memorable Moments, Events with NJ is a full-service celebration planning collaboration. Our team’s experience includes uniquely curated event design, dream weddings, special event galas, corporate events, team building, bar & bat mitzvah, new product launches, and private dining experiences. Our gracious and knowledgeable team of associates will go above and beyond to provide our clients with excellent service and a seamlessly produced event. Starting a business during a pandemic is never ideal and quite possibly my biggest challenge at the moment, but continuing to build relationships and network network network with other industry professionals is what is the key in growing my business and getting the word out. I would want everyone to know, although my business is young and growing; my experience, expertise, drive, dedication & pure passion for events was ignited and growing inside me for close to two decades now, I am a seasoned event veteran.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A few of my favorite places to eat & activities would have to include, hiking trails; South Mountain Preserve Telegraph Pass, Piestewa Peak & Freedom Loop Trail as well as San Tan Mountain Regional Park. Outstanding breakfast joints Essence Bakery Cafe, Matt’s Big Breakfast or Morning Glory Cafe. My Favorite lunch spots would of course include a refreshing margarita & street tacos from Juan Jaime’s in chandler, incredible dietary approved bites from Pomegranate Café or gluten free pizza & a glass of wine from Spinato’s. Causal happy hours are my favorite at Position’s for Bottles & Boards, Sushi from Sting Rays or a fun afternoon at San Tan Brewery. During the hot summer months my most favorite this to do is take trip to canyon lake for a kayak trip in the late afternoon/early evening. Traveling through the canyons in the waters shadowed by the beautiful bluffs is a must.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The Phoenix NACE (National Association of Catering & Events) board of directions and community has played an incredible role in my development of becoming the master networker and relationship builder I am today. I have been on the board of directors for 7 years now and have met some of the most amazing industry professionals and business owners who I aspire to every day.
