Meet Noah Fabray | Singer-songwriter & Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Noah Fabray and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Noah, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Taking risks is essential for an artist. Whether I’m reaching out to people I normally wouldn’t or pushing myself to make new sounds, I always feel a little “out” of the box.
I don’t feel nervous much anymore, so I guess the risk taking is becoming less risky (or I’m starting to care less about people’s opinions).
Without these risks and me daring to be different I’m not sure I would be on the path I’m currently on.
Life is far too short to be scared. My time here feels precious, so I want to take every risk I can.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a singer-songwriter and producer. My sounds always are unique and don’t ever seem to mimic each other.
I love creating new things, whether it’s through music or my visual identity.
I have gotten to this point by my morals and my individuality. Without a strong sense of “self” I wouldn’t be able to handle this.
My career has been a long time in the making. I’m currently planning my return to the scene this fall which I’m super excited about.
I want the world to see me and hear me. I want people to love me. To GET me. All I have ever wanted is to be known and loved and respected.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m in Scottsdale, so my go-to places are all restaurants. Olive & Ivy is one of my favorites.
Another spot is Orange Sky at Talking Stick, which is so intimate and glamorous.
If it’s fall-spring, I love hiking the McDowell mountains. Any trail I can get on, I will.
And If I’m really bored, you will certainly see me around trying new coffee spots with my friends and family.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shoutout my mom and sister specifically. Without their love and their support I wouldn’t do this. I couldn’t.
Family, even if yours small, can make or break your self image and confidence.
My mom and sister love my queerness and the LGBTQ community as a whole, which makes me feel safe and confident to take risks and be 100% myself.
