We had the good fortune of connecting with Noah Ruiz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Noah, is there something you believe many others might not?
There’s a saying, “Fake it till you make it.” However, insincerity leads only to a distorted perception of reality and miscommunication with yourself, your business, and your customers.

If you lack knowledge, acknowledge it and confront it head-on— so we say, “Face it until you make it.” It’s acceptable to be incorrect and to fail. Your going to have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable, as that is the path to growth.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

My work centers on revolutionizing the tech-enabled utility asset inspection industry through innovation and dedication. What sets me apart is a relentless commitment to pushing boundaries and finding solutions where others see challenges. I take immense pride in establishing successful ventures, from pioneering aerial mapping technologies to co-founding manufacturing enterprises and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs.

Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy. Transitioning from military service to civilian life presented its own set of challenges, but each obstacle became an opportunity for growth. I’ve learned that resilience, adaptability, and unwavering determination are crucial in overcoming challenges.

The lessons I’ve learned along the way are invaluable. From the battlefield to the boardroom, I’ve gained insights into leadership, teamwork, and the power of innovation. My journey underscores the importance of perseverance and giving back to the community.

I want the world to know that my story is one of resilience, determination, and passion for making a positive impact. Whether it’s through groundbreaking technology or supporting aspiring entrepreneurs, my goal is to leave a lasting legacy of innovation and empowerment

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

As a native of Arizona and specifically Chandler, Our journey would begin with a perfect cup of coffee from Peixoto in Chandler, marking the first exchange of coffee outside of the Peixoto family’s hands. We then ascend South Mountain to get the lay of the land, showcasing the East Valley and the broader metro area. The journey continues as we cruise down Central Avenue, winding our way up part of Camelback Mountain to present Phoenix from the North Side, offering a different perspective of the city.

We’d cap off our exploration with a delightful dinner in DT Chandler, followed by cocktails at a local dungeon. If you know you know.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

Throughout this journey, numerous individuals have guided me through these challenges. Vicki Brush from S.C.O.R.E. was one of the only person who understood my business even when I did not. During my tenure at Chandler Innovation Incubator, Christine Bailey and Diana White were instrumental. “The Surrender Experiment” by Michael A. Singer, aided in aligning with the flow of life. “The E-Myth” by Michael E. Gerber provided insights into structuring systems. “Play Bigger” offered a perspective on the broader aspects of positioning organizations. Lastly, “Infinite Game” by Simon Sinek taught my team and me that business is not a game with an end.
