We had the good fortune of connecting with Noah Strykes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Noah, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
I feel that perseverance and consistency are two traits that helped me break through plateaus in my career. For creatives, motivation can be hard to find. It can be easier to feel discouraged by a lack of results rather than staying motivated through the tests and trials of putting your work out for the world to see. Staying consistent can be a way to prove to your audience (and yourself) that you are committed to the craft and determined to create success.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started with photography and videography when I was 12 years old. I uploaded daily vlogs and various video projects to YouTube. About five years into YouTube, I decided it was time to rediscover the passion for music I had as a young child. Over the past two years I have taught myself digital music production, mixing, and mastering. I have incorporated my photo/video skills with my music to make projects come as close as possible to my creative visions. I take pride in being able to confidently say that every piece of content I make is the direct outcome of my artistic skills and visions.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love the Scottsdale area. The quarter and fashion square are great places to visit during the day. There are great selections of shops, restaurants, and activities to enjoy. I personally love Sol, a mexican restaurant at the Scottsdale quarter. The quarter at night is a great place to spend time with friends and family.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to thank Lourde Childs, Aubri Kahl, and Ryan Rane for supporting me through my creative endeavors. Over the years we have built a team that is dependable, efficient, and effective. Without their support, honesty, and trust I would be a completely different person. Of course I would also like to thank my mother. She has supported me and my dreams since day one, and there is no one as special as her.
