We had the good fortune of connecting with Noelani Apana-Cherry and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Noelani, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
I absolutely love quotes and positive affirmations, so I admit it was kind of hard narrowing it down to one. With some hard thinking, there is one that started to ring.
“Visualize your highest self and start showing up as her everyday”. This quote has actually gotten me through some pretty tough times, so I hold it near and dear.
To me, this quote means too manifest your true authentic self and start showing up as her daily. Meaning whoever you desire to be, you can be. What matters is what you believe, how you feel, and hold as true.
For some many years, I lived my life by who I thought I needed to be. Whether that was for others, for society, etc. That was of course, until I decided to tap into my personal power.
I love this quote, because it promotes freedom, passion, vulnerability, and authenticity. It was the start to my very own self-discovery journey.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am the Founder and Master Coach behind “O.W.N – One Who Navigates”. I am a Transformation Coach, who helps individuals who are feeling lost and or stuck in the momentum of life. I help them tap into their personal power, so they have the power to protect their peace.
My areas of focus in supporting others are to balance success with their personal wellness goals and happiness. It starts with embracing your authenticity, honoring yourself and creating a sense of balance so you can flourish.
I know first-hand that trying to accomplish this is easier said than done sometimes. You are not alone; I am beside every client every step of the way. O.W.N – One Who Navigates will provide the support and tools for self-discovery that will allow people to own their lives and become their true authentic self.
I truly believe that everyone deserves to tap into their full potential and own any obstacle in their way. Living their truth and fulfilling their dreams and goals unapologetically. Everyone’s journey is different, you’ll learn to love, embrace, and own yours.
For the longest time, I was existing instead of living. I found this through my own self-care and wellness journey that led me from merely surviving to now thriving. My journey began, with finding my own version of happiness through spiritual growth, a change of mindset, a lot of self-care by fueling my mind/body and surrounding myself with a positive support system and accountability.
Learning to navigate through life and believing in myself instead of suffering by my own limited beliefs has had its fair share of challenges, but non-the less transformational. Each milestone to re-discovering yourself is remarkable. These are the pillars of my Self-Care Routine that I now use to coach others navigate through their own journey.
My continued self-discovery journey is the compass that guides me during the most exciting and challenging of times. I’m humbled to have the privilege of helping others find this same sense of peace and inner freedom. Once you access and own the power that already exists within you, the rest is history! #OWNIT
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to? On a cool, sunny day in Arizona I would absolutely start the day with a nice walk around the park and water at my favorite local park called The River View. After that, I would definitely see us going to this cute brunch place called “Whats Crackin’ Cafe” for some mouthwatering French toast and mimosas.
For a fun afternoon activity, we love to hang out at “Top Golf” for a few rounds of golf while enjoying the gorgeous view, friendly atmosphere, and food. They have a great inexpensive appetizer and drink menu! I LOVE their flatbread pizza.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I dedicate and owe everything to my beautiful mother, Kehau L. Apana-Kite. She is driving my inspiration. Not only did she bring me into this world, but she molded me into the very women I am today. My entire life, she modeled resilience, compassion, passion, and drive.
She was a tremendous Paralegal for several Family Law Firms for 15+ years. She began to feel burnt out and her heart lead her to an exciting change in career in, Life Coaching. While pursing her dreams, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
That didn’t stop her, she made certain of it. She obtained her coaching credentials, started her business, and was truly visualizing her highest self and showed up as her everyday. This was and still is so moving to me.
After her passing last year in November, I struggled with how I was going to continue the same resilience she showed day in and day out. It took some time, but I realized that it is in me. She is in me.
I am very grateful for my mom, and wouldn’t be where I am today without her. I love you momma, thank you!
