Meet Philip Tzeng | Las Vegas Food Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Philip Tzeng and we’ve shared our conversation below.
What should our readers know about your business?
My account does lean towards fancier food and I feel like my followers are less budget conscious and just want to have the best time possible. I am most proud of the decision to take the unconventional leap into social media and the life I have now is pretty outstanding if I do say so myself. Even the 2013 version of me would be jealous of me.
The biggest lesson in the social media game is consistency. You can’t stop posting and you got to love what you’re creating. I would also work on diversifying to other platforms, which will only increase your value as a brand partner.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The best part of living in Las Vegas is the sheer amount of things to do with more new things opening literally weekly!
Eat:
Joel Robuchon is the best restaurant in Las Vegas with amazing food and service. It’s also around $500 pp.
Kame is my favorite sushi/omakase experience at $350/$500 pp meals.
Bazaar Meat at Sahara is my go-to for steaks as they offer an excellent variety of cuts and imaginative dishes.
Momofuku does some fantastic Asian fusion and I would encourage dining as a big group over a date night to try the large-format dishes.
Shang Artisan Noodle for the best beef noodle soup which is best for the impending hangovers we’ll have!
Sites:
Maverick Helicopter Grand Canyon tour for the most breathtaking and time-saving way to see it.
Area 15 for wonderful art with Omega Mart being the first stop.
Fremont St for the best gambling and drinking
Shows:
Absinthe for the most over-the-top and funny show on The Strip
Michael Jackson One is currently my favorite Cirque du Soleil show
David Blaine is the best magician I’ve ever seen.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to shout out Ayumi, my wife of 16 years, She’s my muse behind all of the amazing food content shots as I rely on her as an expert in food styling, taste, and selection of restaurants featured. She has also become an accomplished video editor herself and has created many viral videos for our clients!
