Meet Richard Allison | Creative Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Richard Allison and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Richard, how do you think about risk?
Taking risk in life and with my career is something that I have always been motivated to push myself to. Staying creative and not following trends. You can pull inspiration from everywhere, for me I find it in Architect art, cuisine, and even lyrics. At the end of the day if you don’t take a chance or a risk you simply are failing yourself and being just comfortable is something Im not looking for. I want to continue to always learn within myself and see how it evolves.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Root Bitters is a brand that creates creative content. With an impressive resume working with numerous brands such as Absolute Elyx, David Yurman, Imbibe, Tales of The CocktaIl, Jack Daniels, Bombay Sapphire, Blue Moon, Casa Noble, GylderIo, DRNXMYTH Liquor.com Tasting Panel Magazine, Voyage Magazine and a speaker of various panel discussions. As a Mixologist and lifestyle enthusiast, Richard connects with the Hospitality Industry as well as fashion, design and travel enthusiast. Helping brands grow and sharing throughout his love for them. Richard other pursuits include photography, cuisine and traveling. Remaining a positive role model for the younger generation’s. His charitable efforts Include los Angeles Mission for Homeless, and the Salvation Army.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Alright here we go! Pick up at the airport head over to Scottsdale and check in at the Scott resort. have an afternoon cocktail poolside and a bite to eat at the Canal club. From there would refresh and grab a Coffee at Schmooze hammer out some work and get ready for the evening. Next up head downtown phoenix to Bar Bianco for some of the best pizza. A cocktail at Little Rituals and hey maybe a beer at AZ wilderness. For dinner and late night cocktails we will be back in Scottsdale at Toca Madera.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a shoutout to my Photographer Tj Perez Him and I both dig deep with getting creative and always coming up with fun ideas.
