We had the good fortune of connecting with Robert P and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Robert, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to create a brand to help show mens vulnerability through religion, marriage, and family. I want to motivate men to be real about their feelings. To show that it’s okay to feel your feelings. There are community of women content creators is strong and there are many out there supporting each other. That is what I want to bring to the mens community. I wanted to create a space where men can be open about their feelings and express their anxiety without feeling judged. I felt that we needed more voices in the mens community to speak up for one another.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My passion for what I do sets me apart. Trying to create a brand takes a lot of work and dedication. You can easily get burned out or feel unmotivated if you are not getting the response you want out of the community. If there are days where I’m feeling unmotivated I remember why I am doing all of this. Like I said, my wife and girls are my why behind this. I also want to bring a positive light to the community of men and dads. There’s a lot of us that work so hard and we’re not looking for recognition. We just want what’s best for our families and sometimes there is a cost to that. This is where I want to come in.. to help men that are feeling overwhelmed and need an outlet to let it out.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I don’t go out very often as I love being at home with my family, relaxing. However, there are a couple places downtown that I’ve been to that are really good. Donut Bar Tucson is a really neat spot for a sweet tooth. It’s a really nice vibe and the donuts are amazing. One of the best donut places I have been to. They also make this Monte Cristo donut… instead of regular bread they use donuts.. it’s pretty epic! When it comes to food I really like Street Taco. There carne asada burrito is so fresh and juicy. The also offer fresh chips and salsa. Lastly, one of the major hits locally is the Sonoran Hotdog. It’s a bacon wrapped hot dog in a toasted bun topped with beans, mayo, diced tomato, guacamole, salsa… just about anything and it is so good. I haven’t been but I’ve heard Aqui Con El Nene serves the best.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to thank God for giving me the strength and opportunity to share with the world. I also want to thank my wife and daughters. They keep me grounded. They are my “WHY” for doing all of this. Without their daily support none of this would be possible.
