We had the good fortune of connecting with Ross Cooper and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ross, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I saw a gap in the fitness industry; I didn’t see myself represented there. it was all ‘perfect’ bodies or those that were just getting off the couch; essentially beginner or advanced. I wanted to create something that spoke to the in-between and just as importantly, represent type 2 diabetics
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m not just a fitness enthusiast but a poet/spoken word artist. I’ve finally found a way to combine the two and recently shot a video where I took one if my favorite songs and made it a workout anthem. all of what I do is art; be it writing or training I’m creating something.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
ok so I’m a fitness guy… gotta visit destination Dallas, hidden gym, all 3 metroflex gyms. for food it’s cattle-ack ranch, velvet taco, and milk creme. also hit legacy west and try everything!
