Hi Sasha, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I’ve always firmly held the belief that if you’re good enough you can make money doing anything! I poured my energy into the culinary arts and I absolutely love what I do. Like the cliche goes if you love what you do you’ll never work a day in your life.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Artisan Personal Chefs is committed to providing excellent opportunities for women in the culinary industry. Our entire team is all women culinary professionals and we’re looking forward to creating a delicious meal and memorable experience for you and your guests! Founded in 2013 we craft each meal in a unique way with scratch recipes featuring local and sustainable ingredients!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d say we would spend our time in the Scottsdale area enjoying a staycation at the beautiful Phoenician resort! I’d enjoy many of the amazing restaurants we have in the valley and some hiking.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My career would not be where it is today without the education, and community I received from my culinary school. Arizona Culinary Institute is consistently ranked as one of the top ten culinary schools in the country. I continue to utilize resources that the school provides to me as an alumni. Including recruiting talented young chefs to bring onboard my team!
