We had the good fortune of connecting with Sheon Paige and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sheon, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started Smell’ N Bomb in 2020, the middle of the pandemic, because I wanted to create a business that gave people joy. We were all so sad, confused and stuck at home so I wanted to create a business that we all could use at home that gave us joy. I prayed about it and God planted this business in my heart and it’s been growing ever since.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m very proud of Smell’ N Bomb and the creative direction it’s going. What sets us apart is the luxury look and feel of our bath bombs. When I started Smell’ N Bomb, I didn’t want to make cookie cutter bath bombs you see on the shelf for $5 at Target & Walmart. I wanted to create a luxury design and recipe with natural vegan ingredients. I decided to start creating amethyst inspired bath bombs. The luxury appeal of an amethyst rock draws everyone in and from there I started hand picking fragrances that makes everyone say “wow, that’s smells amazing!” One of the most common things I hear from my customers is “I can smell them from the box!”

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When friends come to visit I like to take them on a drive up to Sedona to see the beautiful red rocks. We would stay at the new beautiful hotel Ambiente, which also features our signature gold geode bath bomb in each of their atriums. We would enjoy a nice dinner at Ambiente by their big fire pit. The next day we would wake up early to go hike and catch the sunrise. Nothing beats the Arizona sunrise over the mountains.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My biggest supporter is my mom Sequilla. Everyone knows it’s super hard to get a business off the ground and my mom not only supported me emotionally but also financially when needed. She supports me daily rather I need a pep talk, need to vent or need help making orders. She’s there always!
