Meet Socorro LeRoux | American Businessman & Recording Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Socorro LeRoux and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Socorro, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Starting my own business took a great deal of critical thinking as it involves risk. My thought process centralized around being logical. Over time, I developed a unique music and entertainment skill set. After analyzing the changes within the music and entertainment industry, I discovered that there was new demand for my skill set. These factors compelled me to establish “The LeRoux Directorate” where we specialize in music, media and entertainment.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The LeRoux Directorate is an entertainment media company that has dual functionality as a record label. We specialize in audio production, recording, music marketing, music publishing, artist development and digital content distribution.

I am most proud of the level of quality and service that I provide. The LeRoux brand prides itself on quality, integrity and relationship building so I am excited to see continued growth in networking with others.

I got to where I am today but living out the message that I always communicate to others, which is “never give up”. Becoming who I am today was not easy at all. I overcame many challenges that I faced by exhibiting focus, faith, determination, and perseverance.

The biggest lesson I learned is that if you put your heart and mind to your goals and dreams you can accomplish anything.

I want the world to know that you can become anything you dream of being. I started out with literally nothing but the shirt on my back and worked to become who I am today. That said, no matter how hard things can get, never give up. You can do it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would tour the cities of Mesa, Tempe, Scottsdale and Phoenix in a convertible to showcase the many landscapes that Arizona offers. We would be checking out one of Arizona’s many hiphop festivals and celebrity concerts. We would also visit iFly to go indoor skydiving, Octane Raceway or K1 Speed to compete in go kart racing. That would make us really hungry so we would definitely be eating at Valle Luna, Los Dos Molinas, or Ocho Ríos Jerk Spot. When the sun goes down we will be back in that convertible, cruising through the many establishments that make up the nightlife of downtown Phoenix.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many people I want to name here! I would love to give a shoutout to my family and my friends. I am forever grateful to have such amazing individuals in my life. Without them, I couldn’t have made it this far. I would also like to give a special shoutout to the city of Cincinnati, Ohio, the city of Mesa, Arizona and the city of Phoenix, Arizona. These cities and the people that call them “home” are the heartbeat of The LeRoux Directorate.
