We had the good fortune of connecting with Stacey Weber and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stacey, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
“What do winners think about? WINNING!” This is so short and simple but is something my Dad has said to me since childhood sports. This short affirmation has shaped the way I think and approach business and most life choices as an adult. I expect success and visualize acheving my endeavors and aspirations. Most often there will be deviations along the way and always lots of hard work but expecting to “win” and having a positive mind set has been a recipe for success for me.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My work encompasses all things food! In 2007 I started “Stacey Weber Chef LLC” an in home personal chef services company. I did in home meal prep and catering. Since then I have opened my store front “EAT”, built and managed the culinary department for the Arizona Cardinals Football Club, started an online meal service and partnered with the Calyton House as their exclusive caterer. As a self taught cook I never imagined I would be in the position I am today! I have always worked really hard and opportunities have come to me, I continue to work hard and always try to lead by example. My goal and vision is to make healthy whole food accessible to all. At EAT we cook seasonally and mindfully and my ultimate passion is to bring people together with food.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There is always lots of eating and drinking! Maple and Ash, Cafe Monarch, Fat Ox, Ocotillo, Chula, Mission….. DRINK HIKE
Ride bikes to brunch and happy hour.
Day Trips: Sedona, Prescott, Jerome, Flag
Live music

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Along the way there has been a few very special individuals that have been monumental in the growth and success of my business.

Dr. Suneil Jain: Dr. Jain referred his patients to me for personal chef services, Many of them local superstar athletes.

Ray and Mary Lou Barton: My first catering clients and still clients 14 years later. Ray and ML are responsible for spreading the word about my in home catering services. Ray has been a mentor and become a close friend.

Michael Bidwill: Micheal gave me the great opportunity to build the Culinary department for the AZ Cardinals team. This was a great honor and something I will always be proud of.
